From a tiled darkroom, this light-filled spa area was created, with warm colors that put the living experience front and center.
The aim of the conversion was to expose the old quarry stone wall and set the scene with suitable materials. The limestone Limestone Persiano, from the Antolini collection, proved to be the ideal color complement to the colorful masonry.
In order to create as homogeneous a counterpoint as possible to the masonry, all natural stone elements were made of the same material. The free-hanging solid basin and the floor-level shower tray were shaped in the manufactory according to the customer’s wishes.
The light beige limestone makes the spacious shower look even bigger and offers enough space to unfold. The natural stone impresses with its robustness and versatile applications. The extra-large wall panels and few joints promise easy maintenance of the wet area.
The oval built-in bathtub was also clad with natural stone. The elaborately bonded slab material now presents itself as a solid block encasing the tub.
