The spherical ambience of this noble bathroom is the result of the unique use of the exclusive Calacatta marble. The snow-white marble with the delicate veins that run through the material like ink strokes, covers a large part of the walls, the bathtub and the entire floor.
The Rain SKY system from Dornbracht ensures the highest possible spa comfort in the spacious shower. Even more relaxation and well-being are provided by the full-surface floor and wall heaters, which warm the natural stone to pleasant temperatures. The marble in custom large sizes is reflected 32 times in the textural cut on the wall alone, creating a quasi-continuous grain throughout the room and elegant veining diamonds.
The illuminated shower niches offer ample space for soaps or bathroom accessories and, thanks to the continuous grain, appear to be of one piece with the wall panels.
The magical appearance of the marble is especially set off by the clear shape of the bathroom elements and the noble accessories, such as the seemingly floating mirror. The dark bathroom cabinets by De Coene also let the Calacatta marble take the visual lead.
The implementation of this bathroom included detailed preliminary planning and project support as well as a joint trip (with the client and architect) to Italy to select the desired marble block.
