Plenty of space for cooking, socializing and always having the kids in sight are just a few of the many advantages of modern eat-in kitchens. Thanks to spacious layouts of modern architecture, the kitchen island becomes the central anchor of the living space. The monolithic kitchen block of this project was made of Turkish limestone Mystic Brown.
The natural stone for the design kitchen block was selected with the customer and part of the material was processed using thin stone technique. 3 mm thin marble slabs save a lot of weight and allow flawless handling of the natural stone fronts. Modern natural stone processing allows almost limitless possibilities in the construction of kitchen furniture.
The individual kitchen island in Mystic Brown, with integrated cabinet doors, was made in a mirror cut. The “leathered” surface brings out the structure of the marble particularly well and emphasizes the naturalness of the material.
The grain of Mystic Brown limestone resembles a brown stormy sky: dark and light clouds are crossed by bright lightning. The unique textured appearance of the natural stone is brought out particularly vividly by the leathered surface finish. Soft parts of the stone were flushed out during the satinizing process, giving the material a pleasant surface feel.
In contrast to artificial materials, which can only be produced by using a lot of energy, the ecological balance of natural stone is unbeatable. However, nature in the private living space is much more important. No alternative material can replace the natural radiance of stone or wood and their added value for quality of life and property.
Personal consultation, individual project planning and a good conversation – that’s how your project starts with us. We realize natural stone dreams.
